- Your attorney, mediator, therapist, or financial advisor can be linked to your coaching so the people helping you can actually coordinate. Your coach can tell your attorney what you're struggling with before a settlement conference. Your attorney can tell your coach what's coming so you're prepared instead of blindsided.
- You control this. You link them, you unlink them, and nobody gets added without you doing it.
- One thing to know before you do it: bringing another person into a conversation can affect legal protections that might otherwise apply to it. If confidentiality in your case matters, ask your attorney before linking anyone. We'd rather you know that now than find out later.

Pay your coach directly
No middleman on your money
- You pay your coach through their own payment account. DivorcePlus doesn't hold your money, doesn't take a cut of your session, and doesn't add a booking fee.
- Your coach sets their own rates, refund policy, and cancellation policy, so ask about all three before your first session. If something goes wrong with a payment, it's between you and your coach, the same as it would be if you'd found them any other way.
- We never see your card number. Payments run through Stripe, and full card details don't touch our systems.

What a divorce coach actually does
A divorce coach helps you figure out what you want, get organized, prepare for the conversations you're dreading, and stay steady when a text from your ex derails your whole afternoon.
They're not a therapist. Coaching isn't treatment, and a coach won't diagnose you or work through your childhood.
They're not a lawyer. A coach can't give legal advice or tell you what a judge will do.
What they're good at: the practical, emotional, day-to-day work of getting through this without making decisions you'll regret. Preparing for mediation. Handling a co-parent who won't stop escalating. Deciding what matters enough to fight for and what doesn't.
Coaching is usually cheaper than an attorney's hourly rate for work that doesn't require an attorney, which is most of it.

What does it cost?
Creating an account, browsing coaches, and using the forms and articles are free. Your intake session with a coach is free too, so you can make sure they're the right fit before paying for anything. After that, you pay only for sessions, at whatever rate your coach sets.
How much are sessions?
Coaches set their own rates and they vary. Rates are on each profile.
Do I need a lawyer too?
You don't need a lawyer to use DivorcePlus. But it is always a good idea to have one when going through a divorce. Remember, a coach can't give legal advice or file anything for you.
Is coaching therapy?
No. If you're dealing with depression, trauma, or a mental health condition, you need a licensed therapist. If you're in danger, call 911. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.
How do I know a coach is any good?
Read their profile, check their training, and ask questions in the first session. Verification badges mean we reviewed the credentials a coach submitted, not that we've assessed their work. Some placement is paid. Do your own diligence, the way you would with any professional.
Can I switch coaches?
Yes, any time, no explanation owed to anyone.
Can my ex see that I'm here?
